Bloody Disgusting has the first images and information on baby bluethe first feature film from the brand new Microdose Studios which brings together three big names in horror.

baby blue is an insane YA comedy/horror, from the director’s crazy mind Adam Mason (The Devil’s Chair, Blood River, Pig, Chandelier, Junkie, Hangmanand Blumhouse’s “Into the Dark” series) and writer Simon Boyes (Songbird, hanged). It was produced by Johannes Robertswho horror fans know as the director of 47 meters below, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon Cityand even Strangers: prey of the night.

“The film tells the story of a group of teenagers who make a true crime vlog that ends up taking some seriously weird and supernatural turns,” said co-writer and executive producer Simon Boyes. “Adam and the amazing cast really brought the script to life, and it’s a fun and scary adventure from start to finish.”

movie stars Knight Aramis (“Mrs. Marvel”), Ally Ioannides (Synchronic), Cyrus Arnold (Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, Zoolander 2), Lia Mcugh (“The Eternals”, The cottage), Dylan Sprayberry (“Teen Wolf”), Paris Berelc (“Alexa & Katie”), Khylin Rambo (“Teen Wolf”, 47 meters below: without cage), Ellen Karsten (“Just Add Magic”), and Antoine Turpel (“Love, Victor”).

According to Mason, the film is “a love letter to the kind of books and movies I loved growing up, especially the Stephen King novels that I loved so much as a teenager. It was like nobody was making these kinds of movies for the YA market, and the teenage me would be really missing today. That’s why I wanted to do baby blue.”

Co-founded in 2021 by Adam Mason & Bradley PilzMicrodose is a fully funded production company, with a slate of ten horror movies currently in various stages of development.

The film has just wrapped production in Los Angeles and is currently in post-production.
