If you’ve ever imagined yourself as Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty or Baby, this Airbnb hosting is for you.
The original Spice Bus from the movie Spice World is available for booking as the perfect accommodation for any Spice Girls fan.
While probably one of the best movie props to turn into accommodation, this bus is located on the Isle of Wight in England.
A night’s accommodation doesn’t cost too much either. Listed for around NZ $ 320.
The attraction is not limited to the bus. It overlooks a beautiful marina perfect for an afternoon stroll, just ‘Let Love Lead The Way’ to the beach and enjoy the local bars and restaurants.
The exterior of the bus looks exactly like the one in the movie Spice World, with its iconic Union Jack painted exterior. The owner is a huge fan of the group and has tried to include as many Spice Girls touches as possible.
Guests have access to the two floors, which have been lovingly renovated with little nods to each of the Spice Girls and some pretty daring interiors. The bus can accommodate up to three people, two of whom share a double bed and one on a single daybed, or you can all jump into the same bed if you really want to ‘spice up your life’.
Once you’re done with your long day of “slam left and shake right,” you can even sit in the original bus driver’s seat, although Meatloaf isn’t behind the wheel this time around.
While the bus and its interior are as crazy about Spice Girl as it gets, the owner says she has no affiliation with the group itself, but wanted to share her passion for the girl group with some other.
When you make a reservation through Airbnb for “Say you’ll be there,” the owner asks you to agree to some common sense rules while staying at the property.
Facilities include a toilet, sink and shower room, as well as toiletries and towels. In this block there is also a kitchenette area with a sink, kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery. There is a mini fridge inside the bus. And, if that’s not enough for you, then “Who do you think you are?” “
The owner also requests that the bus be left in a respectable condition and tidy when it comes to saying “Goodbye”.
