Jet2 resumes flights to vacation hotspots from Manchester Airport

Flights took off from Manchester Airport to Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca on Thursday with customers from the region flying in for some much-needed sunshine to greenlisted destinations.

A flight also took off for Madeira today (July 2). This is in addition to the airline’s flight and vacation program, which already operates to Jersey.

The leisure airline and package holiday specialist recorded the highest volume of bookings to the Balearic Islands in almost a year, with bookings for July alone up more than 3,000% to at some point. Bookings for Madeira also jumped nearly 1,500% as customers finally got the chance to book and enjoy their well-deserved vacation.
