In a reported appalling violence incident in the Islampur village of Gurugram, a 35-year-old man was reportedly killed by his friends after arguing in paid accommodation (PG).
According to the report, the man was identified as Sandeep from Sampla village in Rothak, he was staying with two other friends in PG accommodation.
The incident occurred when the trio living together had a verbal argument, after which two friends fired a shot at the third. The accused have been identified as Manisha and Jonty.
According to police, the incident occurred at the PG, when neighbors rushed to the scene of the crime after hearing a gunshot. Sandeep’s neighbors found him lying in a pool of blood, he was rushed to a nearby private hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said a pistol was recovered from the PG’s accommodation and a search operation to catch the accused was underway.
Speaking about the situation, police said: âThe duo fled, leaving their pistols at the scene of the crime. The murder appears to be the result of an old enmity. The exact reason can be determined after their arrest, âThe Times of India said.
A case was filed under Section 302 (Murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the relevant sections of the 1959 Weapons Act were also filed at Sadar Police Station, Islampur Village , sector 38, Gurugram.
