Israel is the latest addition to the Avanti lineup in North Africa and the Middle East. The United Arab Emirates was launched in 2015 as a stopover destination for travelers traveling between the eastern United States and Asia on the Emirates airline. Morocco was added in 2019, Egypt in 2020, and Jordan earlier this year.

Modern cities, nightlife, bazaars, sites from Biblical, Roman and Crusader times
“We continue to expand our offering of popular and exotic destinations to support our travel consultant partners and their FIT clients who have traveled a lot in search of something different, that easily connects to Europe,” said Paul Barry, CEO of Avanti Destinations. “Pre- and post-stays in Israel, Jordan and Egypt are frequently combined or added to Eastern Mediterranean cruises, Morocco is a gratifying addition to a trip to Spain and Portugal, and Turkey is a logical addition to holidays in Greece and its islands. The Middle East is the cradle of Western civilization, the cradle of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and home to the oldest cities on earth – Jericho dates back 11,000 years. The region not only attracts guests fascinated by history since its inception, but also those looking for great food, nightlife, colorful bazaars, beaches, diving, desert adventures, and wonderful coastal scenery.
